Uses of Cryogenic Freezing

Many of us will have seen films where people are placed into "stasis" when on board a spaceship. This is no longer just science fiction. We can now place people in a stasis-like state using Cryogenic Freezing. For a frozen person time doesn't seem to pass. They literally remember nothing from the moment of freezing to the time they are unfrozen. That is because when frozen all life activity stops. But unlike all other times when life signs stop, this is done in a controlled way so they can very easily be restarted.

With practice people have learnt to deal with the unfreezing so that they can perform all the necessary movements and actions to ensure complete recovery themselves. And there is no chance they may forget, even their memory remains completely intact.

This can give other people vitally needed time to obtain medicines, organs, or even the emergency services themselves! If a patient is brought into a hospital needing an immediate organ transplant, Cryogenic Freezing will give them the time needed for the organ to become available whether it takes hours or months.
